Historical Fiction
In the Southwark neighborhood of Philadelphia in 1897, Erica’s great-great-grandmother, Mary, suffered a tragedy that would affect her family for generations. Erica is writing a novel based on the events of Mary’s life, focusing on the intense love of a mother for her children, the strong bond of female friendship, and the redemptive hope of a loving God.

Erica lives in the Philadelphia region with her husband and a large blended family. They rely on humor and grace to keep up with their busy offspring while working full-time and pursuing their hobbies. Besides reading and writing, Erica loves to knit, walk in the woods, kayak on the lake, and stand in line at the supermarket with her husband.
